Finally, the warmer weather has arrived! At least I hope so…. Which is time for some spring cleaning and I’m not just talking about cleaning out your closest of clothes you haven’t wore in two years. This is the time to clean your mind. Whether it is getting rid of negative thoughts or whether it is thinking of ways to improve yourself whether it being a job or your passions. It’s time to take a step up into 2017. A few months have pasted. How are your 2017 goals going. Have you stuck with them? Have you forgotten about them. Well if you forgot about them, it’s time to get yourself back on track. Don’t give up. Start it back up again because it isn’t too late yet. It is never too late.
First, you want to start with your environment. If you like you change, change your room around. Get rid of stuff that you haven’t use. GET ORGANIZED! Recycle old school paper or notebooks that are full that you won’t use again. Buy organizers for your makeup. Get rid of any makeup you don’t use anymore. Swap out your Fall/Winter clothes for Spring/Summer clothes. Or get rid of clothes you haven’t wore in 6 months. It’s a waste of space in your clothes and more space means more shopping.
Summer is coming which means a lot of activities and things to do in your Town or City. Things are not free sadly! Start putting yourself on a budget if you need to. Don’t do pointless driving. Save gas. Ride your bike or walk places. It saves money, you get exercise and it’s better for the environment! Only allow yourself to spend a certain amount of money on clothes a month. Another idea is to put a certain amount away in a savings and don’t touch any of the money in your savings account.
It’s time to clear your mind. Get outside. Pick up a new hobby or activity this summer. A lot of times we are to involved with what is going on, on twitter. So much time is wasted on social media and having our faces glued to the screen. Personally that is something I am currently working on. I allow myself to go on my phone for an hour after I get home from work or school. Then, it is strictly cleaning, homework, reading or getting ready for the next day. Then, I do an hour closer to when I go to bed and then end the night reading.
Usually, I go through a funk at the end of the Winter season. This works for me and I hope it works for you also.
Thanks for joining me and my thoughts tonight. Have a great night and a great week and talk to you soon.
