As you all know by my twitter and instagram that I went to my first music festival, Boston Calling in Boston, MA. A lot of my favorite artists and bands were there like 1975, Mumford and Sons, Cage the Elephant, Bon Iver, Oh wonder, the xx and Chance the Rapper. All of them except Cage the Elephant it was my first time seeing them and holy cow will I never forget that weekend ever.

There’s something about not only listening to your favorite artist/band live, but seeing them right in front of you. Doing what they love and singing and performing music that you have been waiting for forever.

I have been wanting to write this blog since the day I got back, but I really didn’t know how to explain it in words and to be honest I still don’t have the right words. You have to experience it to believe it.

At least after I left Boston, I had a different view on music. It’s crazy to think we all came to that music festival for the same reasons. Just stand, sit or dance around to our favorite tunes. No one judging. Everyone having the biggest smile on their faces. To be honest I don’t think I’ve ever smiled so big. The feeling of you screaming your little heart out with your favorite artist/band because you love them & their music so much.

The music was amazing. It’s amazing feeling when you are excited to see a band or artist perform and after you are like woah and love them even more after they perform even though you thought it wasn’t possible to love them anymore.

My favorite part of the weekend was when Bon Iver performed. Such an amazing band with such moving music. My favorite song  Holocene came on and I cried like a baby. To top that off it started pouring. It was like unexplainable. It felt like it was seriously too good to be real. God clearly loved Bon Iver so much he was crying right along with me. It was complete down pouring and no one left. No one moved. It was like it wasn’t even raining. Every one was too moved by the music to leave. It left me speechless. That is a moment I will never ever forget.

Life is crazy how it gives you things like music to make you feel  certain way or music seems to understand what you are feeling. Music is what you are feeling when you can’t put it in words.

Thank you Boston for an amazing weekend & I will see you next year.
